Terms and Conditions
Two Lions Printing Co., LLC, is fully committed to your satisfaction. In order to meet your standards, we ask that you please read and agree to our limited terms and conditions.
Payment - Two Lions Printing Co. requires full up front payment for all good and services rendered. This allows proper funding for product and supply procurement. Quotes, invoices, and final approvals will be emailed with billing and payment information, and orders will not be moved forward into production until funds are secured. All sales are final, and a final quote approval is considered an agreement to payment for goods and services rendered. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. If you are unable to pay in advance, please inquire and we will do our best to accommodate.
Order Minimum - Two Lions Printing Co. has the ability to print anywhere from 1-1000 items per day, however our shop minimums are set in place to benefit not only your costs as a customer, but our company as an entity. Single color prints with up to two printing locations are set at a minimum of 30 pieces, while two or more colors, or more than two print locations, require a 50 piece minimum. Please note that most prints on dark colored garments typically require a white under base, thus turning a one color print into a two color print (white under base, with a color overlay).
Turnaround Time - Standard production turnaround time is 10 business days from the time of final approval of your proof(s), and full payment. If an order requires shipping, be advised that this may add to your turnaround time. Please note we are not open for national holidays, nor do we consider them business days, and these days will add to the turnaround time of your order. Any circumstances out of Two Lions Printing Co. control (weather delays, garment sourcing issues, or shipping errors by the supplier or carrier) may require more time and are not factored into the initial turnaround time estimate. While rush orders are available, orders above certain quantities, and procurement of quantities of specific garments may impact final production time. For any rush orders, please inquire and we will accommodate to the best of our abilities.
Artwork and Approval - Any artwork provided by you, must be in an approved file format (.ai, .png, .psd, .pdf) that allows us to print at our quality standards. All files must be a minimum of 300 DPI or in vector format. Any artwork that does not meet this criteria can be revised by Two Lions Printing Co., at a rate of $40/hour, with a 1 hour minimum. This includes up to two revisions, and any further revisions will incur a $15 charge per revision. Two Lions Printing Co. is not responsible for any misspellings, missing information, errors, or issues in your art file, nor will we be responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork. All artwork proofs and final approvals will be communicated via digital mock-up, sent through email. Any modifications requested after approval may result in production delays and additional expenses.
Garments - Two Lions Printing Co. is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, loose/inconsistent stitching, mislabeled garments, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams). We also hold no responsibility for garment discoloration or shrinkage during our printing and curing process. While we source our garments from numerous nationwide suppliers, we cannot guarantee availability. If in the event we are unable to source the appropriate quantity, color, or size of the garments requested, we will provide you information on alternative or comparable garments. This may affect your final costs and turnaround time, and is handled on a case by case basis.
Should you want to provide your own garments, we ask that they are new and unwashed. We also require you provide the brand(s) of merchandise, quantity and sizes of garments, and fabric content. Any garment you provide will incur a $1 per garment charge, in addition to your order total. This is to mitigate any issue with the provided garments, and to cover associated labor costs of unpacking, sorting and processing. In the event a customer provided garment is damaged or rendered unsellable during production, and a comparable alternative garment is unable to be sourced, we will refund the $1 per garment charge, per item, that is not included in your order. Accordingly, Two Lions Printing Co. is not responsible for the replacement or reimbursement of lost value of your provided goods.
Color Matching - While we use the Pantone Color Matching Guide for our inks, exact matching to your artwork may not be possible. Due to the nature of screen printing, inks and pigments, and production techniques, certain fabrics (natural/artificial blends, acid washed, distressed goods) and garment colors do not allow for exact color matching. We will do our best to communicate any potential issues before production begins, and provide direction to a process or garment selection that may better suit your specific needs. Please note that dark colored garments typically require a white under base to provide the proper opacity and color of your requested design. This will be considered another color, and will be billed accordingly. Custom color matching is available starting at $15 per color.
Print Location & Print Size- It is the customer’s responsibility to provide details in regard to print placement and size. If no details are provided Two Lions Printing will print in industry standard locations (ex: Chest Print, Print to start 2’’-3’’ inches below collar). The best way to gauge your print size is to lay a shirt (in the sizes you wish to have printed) flat and use a ruler to measure out the print area. Please keep in mind the scale of the print will vary on different sized garments and all items of an order will be printed with the same set of screens, unless a resize is ordered.
Print Placement Variance- There is a human element involved in screen printing. As much as we try to automate there is still going to be someone constructing t-shirts by hand and loading them on the press by hand. Due to this, we cannot be held liable for printing placements less than a 3/4” in variance. We do use a laser alignment system to guide our printers into where the image should be, however, shifts in the image up to a 3/4″ are going to occur. We do our best to load the shirts for optimal placement.
Manufacture Out of Stocks- Due to the wide variety of brands, styles, colors, and sizes, Two Lions Printing does not stock blank garments. From time to time the manufacture may be out of stock on certain items. Two Lions Printing will not be held liable for delays due to manufacture out of stocks or discontinued items. In these cases the customer will be notified immediately and provided with other options.
Water Based & Discharge Prints -Discharge and Water Based prints work best on 100% cotton garments. Due to the inconsistent nature of discharge printing, Two Lions Printing will not be liable for minor inconsistencies found in the print and will not issue refunds for this service. It is hard to create an exact Pantone match with Discharge, though we can get close. Also, there is more spoilage since some shirts won’t discharge out as well as others. If you prefer this method of printing, either be open to a small percentage of variance, or have extras ordered.
Quality Assurance - Two Lions Printing Co. utilizes many quality control standards, but it is your responsibility to check over garments as you receive them. We abide by the industry standard of a 72 hour window from the time you receive your goods to notify us of any issues with your order. Two Lions Printing Co. will not be responsible for errors with your order after 72 hours of you receiving your goods. Additionally, Two Lions Printing Co. will not be responsible for any lost income, customers, accounts, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer.
Media Creation - All production is subject to photography and/or video documentation by Two Lions Printing Co.. This includes, but is not limited to photos and/or videos created at any point during production. We may utilize this media for our own advertisement and demonstrative purposes and reserve the right to share any applicable content to any platform of our choosing. If you choose to not allow content creation and sharing of your artwork or design, please communicate this before any production has begun.
Ownership of Goods - Upon completion of your order, you are the owner of your merchandise. A 90 day window is provided to arrange for pick up or shipment of goods. After 90 days, any and all parts of your order, including but not limited to, garments, custom ink colors, film transparencies, and artwork created by Two Lions Printing Co., will be considered abandoned and become the property of Two Lions Printing Co., and may be donated or discarded at our discretion.
